> Collection Lampe Berger

Lampe Berger officially originated in 1898 when Maurice Berger applied for a patent on his invention of an oil lamp with a wick, which subsequently came into widespread use. The sales of Lampe Berger reached a peak in the 1930s and 1940s. A prestigious interior without such a lamp and its characteristic odour was simply inconceivable - not only in France, but everywhere in the world.
